HeartCatch PreCure! (ハートキャッチプリキュア! Hātokyatchi PuriKyua!), or HeartCatch Pretty Cure! is a Japanese anime series and the seventh installment in the Pretty Cure metaseries by Izumi Todo. Produced by Toei Animation, the series is directed by Tatsuya Nagamine (Beet the Vandel Buster) and written by Takashi Yamada (Ojamajo Doremi). Official character designs were done by Yoshihiko Umakoshi (Guyver: The Bioboosted Armor, Casshern Sins, and Marmalade Boy). The series premiered on February 7, 2010 on TV Asahi's ANN network, following Fresh Pretty Cure!, and ended on January 30, 2011, where it was followed by Suite PreCure. The series has two main motifs. One is fashion, which is referenced to Tsubomi joining the fashion club, which is part of the storyline. And second is flowers, which are prominent in the naming of numerous characters and items, as well as in the main storyline. Additionally, most episodes contain at least one reference to the language of flowers.

HeartCatch Pretty Cures[edit]
Tsubomi Hanasaki (花咲 つぼみ Hanasaki Tsubomi) / Cure Blossom (キュアブロッサム Kyua Burossamu)
Voiced by: Nana Mizuki

Tsubomi is 14 years old and in the second year of the private Myōdō Academy's Junior High School branch. She loves every plant and would like to join the gardener's club, but then she is taken into the Fashion Club by Erika. Her house is the "Hanasaki Flower Shop". She is an upright person, but also shy and withdrawn, which is almost a complex of hers. She sees her change of schools as a chance to change herself. Indeed, after she meets Erika, she will slowly start to change. In the first fight when Erika was controlled as desertrian, she wants to save Erika and is half-forced by fairies to become a Pretty Cure. As Cure Blossom, her dark red hair becomes light pink, her theme color is pink and her flower symbol is the Cherry blossom. Her powers are related to flowers and she can use auxiliary attacks such as Blossom Flower Storm and Blossom Double Impact in addition to her finishing attack. Her catchphrase is "I've Had Enough!" or "I've now cut off my cord of patience!" (私、堪忍袋の緒が切れました! Watashi, kan-nin-bukuro no o ga kiremashita!). Unlike other Pretty Cure protagonists, she is not greedy with food and she enjoys studying. Her theme color is pink.
She introduces herself as "The flower spreading throughout the land, Cure Blossom!" (大地に咲く一輪の花、キュアブロッサム! Daichi ni saku ichirin no hana, Kyua Burossamu!)
Erika Kurumi (来海 えりか Kurumi Erika) / Cure Marine (キュアマリン Kyua Marin)

Erika is 13 years old and Tsubomi's classmate, neighbor and daughter of the owner of the fashion shop "Fairy Drop". In addition, she is the president of the Fashion Club. She loves fashion and designing her own clothing. She has a jealous complex towards her beautiful and fashionable older sister, who is a Charisma Model despite still being in high school. She is an energetic girl and bluntly says what she is thinking, although she also begins to change after meeting Tsubomi. She makes Tsubomi join the Fashion Club after all old members signed off. After she is informed the qualification of Pretty Cure, she agrees to help in the fight of Tsubomi. As Cure Marine, her dark blue hair becomes lighter blue, her theme color is blue and her flower symbol is a blue daisy. She has powers related to the ocean and can use auxiliary attacks such as Marine Shoot and Marine Dynamite in addition to her finishing attack. Her catchphrase is "Even me, with a heart wider than the ocean, has reached her limits!" (海より広いあたしの心も、ここらが我慢の限界よ! Umi yori hiroi atashi no kokoro mo, kokora ga gaman no genkai yo!). Her theme color is blue.
She introduces herself as "The flower fluttering in the ocean winds, Cure Marine!" (海風に揺れる一輪の花、キュアマリン! Umikaze ni yureru ichirin no hana, Kyua Marīn!)
Itsuki Myoudouin (明堂院 いつき Myōdōin Itsuki) / Cure Sunshine (キュアサンシャイン Kyua Sanshain)

Itsuki is in the second year, the student council president and the grandchild of the current principal of Myōdō Academy. Itsuki appears to be a gentle, handsome, and athletic boy with a princely demeanor who attracts many subordinates and fans. At the beginning, Tsubomi developed a temporary admiration for Itsuki until discovering her female gender. She crossdresses due to her having to substitute as the heir of the school and dojo in place of her ailing older brother. However, she maintains a great love for cute, girl things and is convinced to join the fashion club. In the events of Episode 22, she picked up Potpourri and thinks it's cute. She later becomes Cure Sunshine to rescue Tsubomi and Erika from danger with Potpourri while saving her brother's Heart Flower. As Cure Sunshine,her short brown hair becomes longer and becomes golden, her theme color is Yellow/Gold and her flower symbol is the Sunflower. Her powers are related to the sun and can use auxiliary attacks such as Sunflower Aegis and Sunshine Flash, in addition to her finishing attack. Her catchphrase is "I will heal the darkness in your heart with my light!" (その心の闇、私の光で照らしてみせる! Sono kokoro no yami, watashi no hikari de tera shitemiseru!). Her theme color is yellow.
She introduces herself as "The flower bathing in the sunlight, Cure Sunshine!" (陽の光浴びる一輪の花、キュアサンシャイン! Hi no hikari abiru ichirin no hana, Kyua Sanshain!)
Yuri Tsukikage (月影 ゆり Tsukikage Yuri) / Cure Moonlight (キュアムーンライト Kyua Mūnraito)

Yuri is 17 years old and Momoka's friend, also in the second year of Myōdō Academy's high school branch. She shares class notes with Momoka when the latter cannot attend classes because of her job, also she heads the list of successful candidates in the grade. Her father went missing during the investigation of the "Heart Tree" in France. At the beginning of the story, she was defeated during the fight against Dark Pretty Cure, rendering her Pretty Cure Seed broken and the Heart Tree withering. Owing to that her fairy died, she can't transform since her only Pretty Cure Seed broke. Scarred by this, she isn't willing to help new Pretty Cures. But later the Heart Tree and the Heart Pot recover her Pretty Cure seed and allocate her status of Pretty Cure again. As Cure Moonlight,her dark purple hair becomes lighter, her theme color is wisteria[1]/Silver and her flower symbol is the Rose. Cure Moonlight has powers related to the moon and can use auxiliary attacks in addition to her finishing attack. Her catchphrase is "I'll keep fighting, for everyone's heart!" (全ての心が満ちるまで、私は戦い続ける! Subete no kokoro ga michi rumade , watashi wa tatakai tsuzukeru !). Her theme color is purple.
She introduces herself as "The flower glistening in the light of the moon, Cure Moonlight!" (月光に冴える一輪の花、キュアムーンライト! Gekkou ni saeru ichirin no hana, Kyua Mūnraito!)
Happiness Charge PreCure! (Tiếng Nhật: ハピネスチャージプリキュア! HapinesuChāji PuriKyua!) hay còn gọi là HappinessCharge Pretty Cure! là một bộ phim hoạt hìnhnữ trang ma thuật Nhật Bản do Toei Animation sản xuất vào năm 2014 và là phần thứ 11 trong bộ Pretty Cure của Izumi Todo, được phát hành để kỉ niệm 10 năm thành lập.[1] Bộ phim được đạo diễn bởi Tatsuya Nagamine, người trước đây đã đạo diễn HeartCatch PreCure! và kịch bản được viết bởi  Yoshimi Narita, người đã viết cho Yes! PreCure 5[2], thiết kế nhân vật bởi Masayuki Sato của Air Gear. Glitter Force, known in Japan as Smile PreCure! (Japaneseスマイルプリキュア! HepburnSumairu PuriKyua!, lit. "Smile Pretty Cure!"), is a 2012 Japanese animetelevision series by Toei Animation and the ninth installment in Izumi Todo's Pretty Cure metaseries.[5] The series is written by Shōji Yonemura, who is best known as the head writer of Glass Fleet and Kamen Rider Kabuto. The character designs were done by Toshie Kawamura, who previously worked on the character designs for Yes! PreCure 5. The series aired on All-Nippon News Network (ANN)'s TV Asahi network between February 5, 2012 and January 27, 2013, replacing Suite PreCure♪ in its initial timeslot, and is succeeded by Dokidoki! PreCure (Glitter Force Doki Doki). A film was released in Japanese theaters on October 27, 2012. The series' main motif is fairy talesand happiness. A novel was released in 2016 which serves as an series epilogue taking place 10 years after the events of the anime.[6]
The series was adapted into English by Saban Brands[7] and was released as a Netflix exclusive outside of Asia and in multiple languages on December 18, 2015.[8] As of May 24, 2017, the Glitter Force trademark and the license has been transferred to Toei Animation.[9] It is the second series in the franchise to receive an English-dubbed adaptation following the original Pretty Cure series.
Emily / Miyuki Hoshizora (星空 みゆき Hoshizora Miyukia.k.a. Glitter Lucky / Cure Happy (キュアハッピー Kyua Happī)

Kelsey / Akane Hino (日野 あかね Hino Akane) a.k.a. Glitter Sunny / Cure Sunny (キュアサニー Kyua Sanī)

Kelsey is the star member of the school's volleyball team.[14] She is from Osaka and speaks with a Kansai dialect in the Japanese version. Her family runs an okonomiyaki restaurant, where she sometimes works.[h] She may be a jokester, but when she has a goal set, she can be very passionate about achieving it.[14] She also has a crush on British exchange student named Brian Taylor.
As Glitter Sunny, her dark red hair changes to orange and grows longer with a bun at the top, and she sports elbow-length bands and thigh-length boots. Her theme colors are orange and red, and her magical form motif is a circle. Her element is fire, and she possess superhuman strength.[14] Her signature move is Sparkle Fire, which is done by her running and jumping towards a formed ball of fire similar to a volleyball and spiking it; its stronger variant is called Sparkle Fire Inferno. She shares a collaboration attack with Glitter Spring, called Fire Shoot.[episode needed]

Lily is an aspiring artist who enjoys drawing and painting action hero characters.[14] Though timid on the outside, shy about her work and sometimes prone to crying, she is loyal, diligent, and headstrong when it comes to things and people she cares about.[14] She is a big fan of superheroes and becomes really excited when something hero-like is brought up.[h]
As Glitter Peace, her blonde hair brightens into a more yellowish color and is tied into a wide ponytail, and she sports small bands and shin-length boots. Her theme color is yellow, and her magical form motif is a star. Her element is lightning, which often peaks when she gets excited or upset. Her signature move is Sparkle Lightning, in which she spins around several times and produces watts of lightning;[14][h] its stronger variant is Sparkle Lighting Hurricane. April is the captain of the school's soccer team.[14] She is straightforward and reliable with a strong sense of justice, though she gets very frustrated when things don't go her way. She is the oldest of six siblings, taking on a motherly role in her family.[i] Despite her general confidence, she does have her phobias, such as bugs and ghosts.(but eventually learns to conquer this fear).[j]
As Glitter Spring, her hair becomes much longer with two large-size side bangs, each with a slight curl at the end, and a long ponytail, and she sports medium-size bands and ankle-length boots. Her theme color is green, and her magical form motif is a gemstone-like pentagon. Her element is wind, and she possess super speed. Her signature move is Sparkle Shot, which involves her flying towards a soccer ball made out of a gust of wind and kicking it;[i] its stronger variant is Sparkle Shot Maximum Impact. Chloe is the student council vice president and a member of the school's archery club. She is intelligent, serious, elegant and kind-hearted,[14][e] but has a frightening temper once her patience reaches its limits. She later becomes student council president.[episode needed]
As Glitter Breeze, her dark blue hair becomes a much lighter shade, her bangs are longer, and the back part is parted in four ways, and she also sports small bands and knee-length boots. Her theme color is blue, and her magical form motif is a diamond. Her element is ice, and she possess intellect and reflexes which allow her to detect and avoid any enemy attacks.[14] Her signature move is Sparkle Blizzard, in which a ball of ice is formed, she makes a snowflake with her hands, and combines both to release a powerful strand of snow;[k] its stronger variant is Sparkle Blizzard Arrow. Thiết kế nhân vật là Takahashi Akira. Phim được phát sóng trên mạng lưới kênh ANN của TV Asahi từ 6 tháng 2 năm 2011 cho đến 29 tháng 1 năm 2012. Hojo Hibiki / Cure Melody (Chiến binh Giai điệu)


Một cô gái 14 tuổi vui vẻ và năng động. Cô là một ngôi sao thể thao nhưng lại rất kém trong học tập. Cô có ước mơ trở thành một nghệ sĩ dương cầm và mang lại niềm vui, hạnh phúc cho mọi người. Cô kết hợp với cộng sự Dory để biến hình và với Miry để sử dụng quyền trượng.

Minamino Kanade / Cure Rhythm (Chiến binh Nhịp điệu)

Một cô gái học tốt và yêu đồ ngọt. Gia đình cô mở một cửa hàng bánh tên Lucky Spoon (chiếc muỗng may mắn). Cô ước mơ trở thành đầu bếp bánh ngọt xuất sắc để tiếp quản tiệm bánh của gia đình. Cô kết hợp với Rery để biến hình và Fary để dùng quyền trượng.

Siren / Kurokawa Ellen / Cure Beat (Chiến binh Tiết tấu)


Một tiên mèo có giọng hát tuyệt vời. Dù sinh ra tại Vương quốc Âm nhạc nhưng cô lại phản bội họ và trở thành thành viên của Vương quốc Bóng tối. Sau, nhờ Hummy và cảm xúc mạnh mẽ của mình, cô đã phá vỡ bóng tối trong tâm hồn và trở thành Cure Beat dù không có Ổ khoá Trái tim và hiện tại là một con người. Khi sở hữu Ổ khoá, cô kết hợp với Lary để biến hình và Sory để dùng Ghita Kì diệu.
Shirabe Ako / Cure Muse (Chiến binh Ngân nga)


Một HS Tiểu học Kanon và là bn cùng lớp của Minamino Souta. Cô trưởng thành hơn so với tuổi và cũng hay tỏ ra lạnh lùng, cô che giấu thân phận trong các tập phim đầu bởi 1 chiếc mặt nạ. Cô cũng không nói nhiều, tiên Dodory giúp cô phát biểu mọi việc. Trong tập 35, để ngăn chặn bạo loạn của Mephisto, cô tiết lộ rằng mình là Ako, Công chúa Âm nhạc, con gái của ông. Cô biến hình nhờ kết hợp với Dodory và sử dụng chiêu thức nhờ kết hợp với Siry.
